Here’s our first attempt at a dolly/jib move. I think I missed a bit on the cropping but you get the basic idea. Has anybody else noticed that the depth of field in Dragon is different than the actual final RAW photos?
Another assignment for Will Vinton’s class
We tried a major camera move today. It started out jenky but got better as it went along. Notice the upside down camera!

On Aug 5, 2010, the short doc The Amazin’ Jerks by Casey Parks and Aaron Wong won the Audience Choice Award for best film at the inaugural Portland Bridgefest 2010. Our prize includes a personal screening at the Baghdad later this year. For more info about the film festival and the the Bridgefest: http://pdxbridgefestival.org/.
Introduced by Portland mayor Sam Adams, The Jerks performed for audiences at the opening Bridgefest event as well as a special demo during the festival. They have been contacted for commercial work and have future several performances schedules around town.
Casey and Aaron along with Aubree Bernier-Clark are currently working on a documentary about a transgender woman in a small town in Louisiana. This production is in association with Amorphous Films and studio.pebble.
